Alessandro Fusco

Born and raised in Savona, comes from a singers family, his father Giacomo (Mimmo) was active in the 60s and 70s, and his brother Cristiano (www.cristianofusco.it) has been singing since he was a child. Started his professional career as performer in 1996 at the Porto Mannu Hotel in costa Smeralda, Sardinia. After that experience together with the jazz pianist Roberto Delle Piane he toured in Italy and Holland singing American standard and jazz classics. Thanks to the collaboration with the tour operator Cigale Voyages and with a brand new swing-jazz trio Alessandro became famous touring all around France and performing in the hotels of the most important cities. His voice represented Liguria for several tourism exhibitions, including B.I.T. Milan, I.T.B. Berlin, Vakantiebeeurs Utrecht. Throughout the years he toured in various countries including Italy, Germany, France, Holland, Switzerland, Slovenia, Australia, Montecarlo (for the charity Amitié Sans Frontiere) and Frankfurt (for the Neckermann at the fair of tourism). He collaborated with musicians and singers such as: Tony Dallara, Gegè Telesforo, Gastone Bortoloso, GB Orchestra (jazz big band), Gianni Sabbioni. His band (Ale Fusco 4et) was founded in 2009 and was the first Fuscogang line up.

Riccardo Dolci

He began his electric guitar studies at the Peschiera del Garda Music Academy with Maestro Davide Recchia, later continuing with classical guitar under the guidance of Maestro Eros Roselli in 2003. As a private candidate, he graduated in music theory and solfeggio in 2005 at the Conservatory of Verona “F. Dall’Abaco”, also earning the fifth-year diploma in classical guitar.He went on to receive a First-Level Diploma with Honours in Jazz Music from the “F. Venezze” Conservatory in Rovigo, studying with renowned musicians such as Maestro Sandro Gibellini , Riccardo Chiarion , and Roberto Cecchetto. He also attended seminars with Paolo Birro, Marc Abrams, Kyle Gregory, and Valerio Abeni. In 2003, he won the S.G.A.M.I. Prize with his band Velo di Maya. Between 2011 and 2012, he joined the Ale Fusco Quartet (the first line up of Fuscogang) in the Netherlands, when the group was invited to represent Italy at the Vakantiebeurs trade fair. In 2013, he worked as a musician and composer on the album L’Uomo Coi Baffi, together with the band The Queentet. His participation in Vicenza Jazz 2014 marked a significant moment in his career, performing with the Electric Bobo Trio. In 2016, he was selected as the guitarist for the Venezze Big Band, performing at various festivals such as Treviso Jazz, Rovigo Jazz, and Casalini Jazz Garden. During this time, he also had the opportunity to play alongside celebrated trumpeter Fabrizio Bosso, who was a featured guest. His musical career is characterized by an intense live performance schedule, spanning various genres including jazz, swing, soul, funk, blues, bossa nova, and pop, with tours across Italy and several European countries such as France, Germany, Netherlands, and Switzerland. He has collaborated and performed with a wide range of artists and groups, including: Kabou, The Queentet, Doric, 2dB (with Silvia Bertaiola), Big Bertha Trio, Castadiva, The Mojo 4th, 5et Avenue, Très Jolie, Electric Bobo Trio, R’n’B Licks, Paolo Tognola, Chiara Andreone, Fabio Campedelli (composer and author for Warner Music), Denise Dimè, Stefano Freddi, Giacomo Aio, Andrea Oboe, Matteo Vallicella, Alberto Girardi, Gianni Sabbioni, Nicola Monti, Riccardo Di Vinci, Stefano Cosi, Marco Storti, Riccardo Pettinà, Marco Soldà, Alberto Zuanon, Andrea Pimazzoli, Rossana D’Auria, Diego Zenato, Andrea Pinamonte, Matteo Breoni, Mimmo Impiombato, Andrea Pimazzoni, Marco Bosco, Max Avesani, Sara Pagiaro, and many others.

Andrea Pinamonte

Based in Verona, Italy, he is a bass player, double bass player, songwriter and music teacher with a passion for luthiery. He studied electric bass and double bass with several local teachers, as well as with Patrick Djivas (PFM). His intense live performance career began in 1995, covering various musical genres and taking him across Italy, France, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Spain and Austria. Over the years, he has collaborated and occasionally performed with numerous artists, including Cristina D’Avena, Beppe Carletti (Nomadi), Cristiano Carré, Ivan Cattaneo, Alberto Fortis, Omar Pedrini, Neja, and many others. Since 2000, he has been teaching electric bass and ensemble music in several music schools between Verona and Brescia. In addition to his musical career, he holds a degree in Industrial Design from the Politecnico di Milano. He later opened his own luthier workshop and patented the innovative Thumbstring design. He is co-founder of Scuola di Groove music School, Kalmasinorock, Moderna Bardolino Music School, and Lazise Summer Music Academy. He has appeared on various television shows and served as a jury member for multiple music competitions. He also participated as an exhibitor at several music trade shows, showcasing his Thumbstring and Alter-Ego electric double basses. He has written several songs both for himself and for other artists, including “Tarantella Fora Posto”, “R…Estate in Maschera” and “Wir Kommen Wieder in Lazise” for Fuscogang, as well as others featured in his personal dialect music project that bears his name. Currently, he performs at over 200 events per year on average, playing also with Kriss Groove Band (disco party), Folkìta (Italian classics), Eliot Bros (American folk), and as a freelance musician with many other groups. Silvano Martinelli

He earned his master’s degree in “Drums and Jazz Percussion” from the Arrigo Pedrollo Conservatory in Vicenza and his bachelor’s degree from the E.F. Dall’Abaco Conservatory in Verona. His deep passion for music was nurtured by the environment in which he grew up. Thanks to his parents, both musicians, he began exploring music at an early age and specifically took up drums at the age of 12. His first teacher, Gino Gozzi, introduced him to the fundamentals that sparked his love for drumming, and throughout his studies, he refined his skills with teachers such as Gian Luca Ubaldi, Max Govoni, Alfred Kramer, and Mauro Beggio. In 2014, he participated with his conservatory in the international ESMAE festival in Portugal, where he had the opportunity to engage with teachers and musicians from around the world. Since then, he has collaborated with various musical ensembles from Verona, covering genres such as jazz, African, Latin, funk, R&B, pop, and Italian singer-songwriter music. He regularly performs at music festivals, concert series, and cultural events.In 2023, he won first prize at the national competition “Chicco Bettinardi” with the band NDOVU, held at the renowned jazz club “Milestone” in Piacenza. He has recorded several studio albums and is highly active on social media, where he promotes his work both as a musician and as a teacher. He conducts lessons in drums and percussion, music theory, solfeggio, and ensemble music in various music schools in Verona.
